JC.Isabella is a self-publishing Indie Author who has wrote so many good books!!
I've just had the honour of JC asking me to read and review her newest book, 'Praying for Daylight,' for her and I have to say, she hasn't failed in hooking my attention and enticing me once again!
Book Blurb:
Kate Kelly gave up everything to be a star. Her life was on the fast track as country music’s hot newcomer, but that meant leaving her hometown of McCree Montana and the boy she loved behind.
Dustin O’Brian didn't think he'd ever see Kate again. After leaving him with a gaping hole in his heart, he figured being in the same room with her, much less the same state, would take a miracle.
When he finds Kate hiding out in the old Kelly house, he realizes something went wrong. Dustin wasn't sure what those Hollywood folks had done to send her running, but he was beyond happy she'd sought him out for company…once he convinced her that he'd keep her being back in McCree secret.
Things were looking up, and he had high hopes that Kate would be his once more.
That is until Death comes knocking at her door.
And Dustin realizes that the future he wants with Kate is one they will have to fight for.

I read this book in a few hours and I can honestly say that whilst this book doesn't have as much romance in it as the first book in the series, ‘Chasing McCree,’ it makes up for it with the amazing plot which hooks you from the start, the action, the suspense and the mystery.
But don’t think there isn't romance, because there is! And it is a much deeper romance than that we normally read about. It’s not a burning flame of chemistry like many YA/Indie Romances are, this is a slow rekindling that is so strong, it’s virtually unbreakable.
There are such rich descriptions, which detail images so perfectly you can all but see them! And I loved how vivid an image I got in my mind whilst reading this book.
I connected really well to Kelly, she’s such an amazing character that it’s impossible not to connect with her.
I never paused in the reading of this book, I read it for three or four hours from start to finish, I truly couldn't put it down.
The humour is so great too! It’s one of those books where you find yourself laughing aloud and anyone in the near vicinity is looking at you as if you're crazy!
The story is about Kelly, our protagonist as she faces some of the hardest choices of her life. She must decide what to do, not just for her own safety, but for the lives of her whole family. And when Dustin finds out Kelly’s home, we finally understand just how deep their connection is as both friends and ex-lovers.
If you loved Chasing McCree, then you'll love this book just as much, because we're back in McCree with our cowboys – and our GPS tracking devices?!
