Blurb: Two irresistible boys. One unforgettable summer.
Lori can't wait for her summer at the lake. She loves wakeboarding and hanging with her friends--including the two hotties next door. With the Vader brothers, she's always been just one of the guys. Now that she's turning sixteen, she wants to be seen as one of the girls, especially in the eyes of Sean, the older brother. But that's not going to happen--not if the younger brother, Adam, can help it.
Lori plans to make Sean jealous by spending time with Adam. Adam has plans of his own for Lori. As the air heats up, so does this love triangle. Will Lori's romantic summer melt into one hot mess?
This volume includes two books in one: The Boys Next Door and its sequel, Endless Summer.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Endless Summer was the third book of Echols work I’ve ever read and after having read Forget You and Going Too Far I had big expectations for this book. I can honestly say that it definitely lived up to my expectation and more. I loved how I was able to read both books in one and I loved the beautiful, well written words this book generated. Endless Summer had a great storyline which also contained a good sense of humour.
I love Lori so much, she is one of the best characters I have ever had the pleasure of reading and I – admittedly – found I could relate to her in more ways than one, her rather headstrong determination and uncanny blindness to not see the truth sooner. Yet she is a genuinely likable character with such a great nature.
And Adam… Adam is perfect, in every way. He is the sort of guy girls always look past, the guy he is ‘second best’, the one who would never cheat or lie to a girl he loves. A true gentleman, and there aren’t many of those around anymore, which makes reading this book so much better. It really shows a girl just what – and who – she’s missing from her life.
If you want a good read with likeable characters and one of the best YA romances I’ve ever had the pleasure to read, Endless Summer is definitely for you!
